 Had the grandkids here at the house last night for pizza - this morning, "Restore" window is stuck out of sight in the upper left corner of my screen and I can't get to it. Tried the normal things - move, size - only thing that works is minimize and maximize.

Please, will someone remind me how to get that "restored" window back to the middle of my screen????????????

I know it can be done, but I'm having both a senior and a blonde moment at the same time.

    Thanks

    fred

Fred - If I understand your problem, you can probably resize your screen to show more territory and see the "lost window" again. Then put it where you want and set the screen size back to your usual.

Assuming of course that your video card will allow you to go up a notch. 800x600 to 1024x768 for instance.

And FWIW, ain't nuttin wrong with Fortran & Cobol. Shucks, we still got live apps running on PDP-11 boxes.

Newt - Thanks for the reply

Was already in 1024. I got my screens back by opening a bunch until I was able to see just a bit of one. Hauled it to the lower right quadrant, resized it a bit, "ALT-F4 "ed all but the last one, and then used File,Exit to save it. Thanks for the input.

Regarding the PDP-11, I probably still have some scars on my fingers from the backplane and its massive 2MByte core memory. Was with IBM when they announced the IBM-360 box. Damned, I'm feeling computer old.

    Thanks again
