my taskbar suddenly got wide (high?) and showed date and time and day. In trying to put the clock back on time only, I deleted it. I can't figure out how to get it back. Note: it is not merely hidden.

I want the taskbar to be its slim self again with the time showing in the right lower corner. What do I do?
