All of a sudden I have lost my Sticky Notes. When I start Sticky Notes it comes up with one blank sticky note - all my others appear to have been lost!
    Any ideras out there?
    Thanks

Sticky notes are saved in \Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky Notes in a file called StickyNotes.snt.

So open your backup & restore the file ;)

Thanks - restore them from where? I don't want to do a full system restore just for sticky notes.
Now I know where they're stored I'll back them up using my custom backup.
    Thanks again

Well, restore them from backup... so you don't back up your Users folder?

Try this: go to the folder: \Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\. Right-click on the Sticky Notes folder, choose Properties and select the Previous Versions tab.

Wit luck you can restore a previous version.

Well I'll be! Didn't know about Previous Versions tab - thank you.
I don't backup my entire Users folder because it's huge - nor all My Documents. Each night I backup folders I have modified that day. Each week I also backup Favourites and Emails - but I never thought of Sticky Notes!
    Thanks again.
