Here's a weird one, using a friend's PC with Win ME running (first time I've used this OS) and suddenly can't get right click to work on the start button which means I can't access Explorer or Search facilities. Any ideas what is causing it and how it can be repaired?
    TIA.

    Does right click work anywhere?

Does lift click work on the start button?

Does windows key on the KB open the start menu?

Look in Control Panel for TweakUI
Go into the My Computer section (in tweakui) and place a check mark on all drives....(it's a known issue)

no right click on start button

Bill, the right click works on everything else. Often wondered what the windows key was for, now I know. Thanks.
Steve, I,ll try your suggestion and let you know how I get on.
    Thanks.

    cant right click on start

Tried unzipping TweakUI as prog.directs but it still didn't appear in control panel so decided to install XP over the ME and this seems to have solved this problem.
    Thanx again.
