Arg....I can't remember what it was..... There was a tip I go months ago to repair windows (retrieving essential .dll files) by using start/settings/control panel/add-remove/?/repair. What was I supposed to delete to get the pop up with the repair option?

LikaLaruku--I did not do a Search to find that thread, but in Win98 a way to repair IE (and OE) is Control Panel|Add/Remove|scroll to Internet Explorer (probably under "MS ")|highlight|click Remove (do not panic--it will not be removed). You should be offered three options, one is Repair Internet Explorer. Check that box|OK|Wait|Reboot.
If that is not what you want, what is the problem?
