lost netscape profile (incl all mail folders, bookmarks, etc.)

suddenly lost all profile information .. mail folders, bookmarks, preferences, etc on Netscape 7.2 I was using this as an email client only. My internet service is through Time Warner Roadrunner. When I call for mail on Netscape, I'm asked if I'd like to set up a new account. Have searched for the missing files to no avail.
Have also tried a recovery software app called Undelete; again to no avail. Any suggestions?

And, after fixing the problem, it would be a good idea to come to the present, as 7.2 is several years outdated. One can install Seamonkey which will pick up the Netscape profile (don't go back and forth from Seamonkey to Netscape). Or, install the standalone Thunderbird . At installation, you will be asked if you wish to import the Netscape, or other programs' data.
