I have had a lot of trouble with both interent explorer and outlook express of late, but thought I had everything fixed. Then, I thought about having so many EMail go through without a speling mistake. Well, this just is not ME.

I had downloaded another spell checker from www.quinion.com/mqa/spell.htm , which served me well for years. It, too is gone. Anyone know what I did and how to get it back.

    I use Windows 98 SE
    Internet Explorer 5.0

    CHARLES,

Is the Quinion spell checking program showing up in Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove programs?

    My OE help says:

To check the spelling in messages

Outlook Express uses the spelling checker provided with the following Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. If you do not have one of these programs installed, the Spelling command is not available.

Also try a search of the archives. This problem has been solved before in a previous post.

No, it is not still on the add/remove file. I have attempted to download again, but it never seems to go completely through. Perhaps they are "accepting no new clients ". It was far better than the one that came with Microsoft.

Hi, I D/L the Spell Checker in this post but after following the instructions carefully I couldn't get it to show in my Start/Programs/etc and its not in my Control Pannel Add/Remove. What would be the BEST way to uninstall program please ??

Probably to simply delete the program file and to delete any relevant entries from the registry.
