Lost my Bookmarks n Preferences...

The other day, my freind was using my computer while I played Xbox, n he said he clicked some stuf from a pop up window, n now I'm locked in a different profile on Mozilla Firefox. I tried editing
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Preferences so it would say:
[General]
StartWithLastProfile=0

[Profile0]
Name=default
IsRelative=1
Path=Profiles/ompayo4k.default

[Profile1]
Name=Matt
IsRelative=1
Path=Profiles/l2k493yt.Matt
Default=1
instead of:
[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1

[Profile0]
Name=default
IsRelative=1
Path=Profiles/ompayo4k.default

[Profile1]
Name=Matt
IsRelative=1
Path=Profiles/l2k493yt.Matt
Default=1
but all this does is ask what profile I want to use when I start Mozilla, and when I choose mine, Its asif i JUST INSTALLED Firefox. PLEASE HELP! I had tones of Bookamrks I want back!

Profiles can be very confusing. Open Firefox's Profile Manager (close Firefox, then in Start > Run... type firefox.exe -p). Delete the default profile, but don't delete the files (yet). If your "Matt" profile isn't listed, create it, and navigate to the correct folder using the Choose Folder... button.

This should restore your profile, complete with bookmarks.

Your profiles.ini file should read:

[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1

[Profile0]
Name=Matt
IsRelative=0
Path=Profiles/l2k493yt.Matt
Default=1​

When you have your profile safely restored, delete the "Default" profile folder.
