    Welcome to the Forum, HSNUTS!

    Tom,

Opening Firefox in Safe Mode would have no effect on your Bookmarks. When you say that you downloaded Safe Mode, makes little sense, as Safe Mode is an option here: Start | Programs | Mozilla Firefox | Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode).

More information is needed in order for us to help with your problem. Where did you download this "Safe Mode ", and was it perhaps an Add-on?

Exactly what happened with your Bookmarks, as you're not really clear on that. Did Firefox start with a new Profile, and your Bookmarks were gone? If so, did you lose your Preferences also?

BTW, all upper case letters indicate shouting, and that is why you were asked to stop using all upper case.

    HS,
and if you feel like shouting, please, tell us what you did, and why.
The Safe Mode which comes with the program disables add-ons, and it is very useful, that way. And, it is only a choice, in other words you have to get out of the way to use Safe Mode.
I think that Ramona and I, understand Firefox, pretty well, and whatever you say is unclear, at best.
