lost mail smilies and formatting toolbar

    Away for a couple of days, switched computer on and ...... No Smilies tab, no mail formatting, mystifying... have tried everything in preferences but no go.:confused:

    Welcome to the Forum, Guy!

    Hi Guy,

    The setting for composing messages in HTML are in:
    Edit | Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
    Highlight the Account Name
    At the bottom of the Account Settings window insert a tick beside:
    "Compose Messages in HTML format "

    You won't see the HTML Toolbar until you are in the "Compose" window.

    I now have every thing back, what I had not done was highlight the account name and check those settings.
