Lost Email in MY Inbox using Netscape 7.2

Hi,

I use Verizon as my ISP, but I read mail via Netscape 7.2 ...
I'm currently running Windows 98; for some reason , today I'm missing email in my inbox from the last 5 years....Can you please tell me how to get
my mail back.

PLease provide me with a contact number I really need to speak with someone. I have been laid off for 1 year and all my job contact were in those emails

Note, I'm a beginner so I need GOOD instructions

PS: I still have ALL emails in my folders
