Lost E-mail - SBC Yahoo Webmail

    Today when I went to check my e-mail. I found I had one new message but approximately 100 old messages were missing from my inbox.

    I have a DSL connection with SBC Yahoo using SBC Yahoo Webmail. I talked with two different people at SBC DSL support but they were unable to find my e-mail or explain where it may have gone. I did not delete the old mail. It is not in any other folder and I had not opened Outlook Express. I know if I open Outlook Express then all my inbox e-mails are downloaded. We tried opening Outlook and it only downloaded the one new e-mail.

    Does anyone have an idea or has this happened to you?

    There is a setting in OE->Accounts->Servers to leave mail on the server. This won't bring back the old ones but will help keep this from happening again.
