Lost Drive "C" - Had to install a new one and install Windows etc again. That got me a new Outlook Express - "with a blank address book ".

However, I got that data in an older hard drive. I made it a slave and all the files are there and can be viewed (Windows files and all). It just won't boot up -

Question- those addresses are in a file - all I need to know is what file the addresses are stored.

Can someone identify the Windows XP file I need and maybe suggest how to read it so I can recapture my e-Mail addresses.

OK, I'll make a hard copy on the printer from now on as a backup!

    Thanks

    Hi jbarker

In the slave XP drive try looking in
    C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

    If you locate it there.
Then open OE and click File, select Import> Address Book

In the drop down menu navigate to the .wab file
    highlight it and click Open.
