lost download folder

    please help. yesterday i ran cc cleaner and now today there is
    nothing in my download folder under the section called 'tools'
    in firefox. i would like it back but do not know how to get it
    back. please help?

    No actual downloaded files are stored there. It's only a LIST of downloaded files.
    Cleaning that list is a good idea, btw.

    You select the download location in Tools|Options|Main|Download portion.
    The accumulation of downloded list used to bog down older programs like Netscape, Mozilla, and even Seamonkey. Once you know where the download is stored, the list is totally unnecessary, if not detrimental.
