lost contacts list [in Windows Live Mail]

    I have just started using windows live mail on XP home. [version 14] I imported a whole long list of contacts to windows live mail on XP, from a .csv file and they seemed to be working OK. Today I find only 5 contacts in the list, that I have explicitly added since. Where have the imported contacts gone?
