I lost my business plan software install disk (former employee stole it actually) but I need to put the program on a second computer. Is there anyway I can do it from the current installed program on computer 1?

Unlikely unless it's a standalone program that does not incorporate itself into Windows :(

basicly agree with PeteC , but I did take MS Works from one hdd to another. It took me about 20+hrs and may still not be 100%, it was on Win98 and no idea if possible with XP,2k ect. What OS ?

I would clone the current hdd for safe keeping.

I've had luck in the past, but I havn't really done that since windows 98, and then it was fairly easy, even if it had registry keys, it was fairly easy to find them..

Though I dont know much about how windows 2000 or XP would be for that, but you can always try it..
