Resolved lost C: DRIVE

    I reinstalled win.xp pro and i lost my C: drive it is now E: drive, how can i make it c; drive again. or will i have to reformat and reinstall again?:mad:

    Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

    Not that simple I fear - you cannot change the drive letter of the drive on which Windows is installed without an enormous amount of hassle - if at all.

    I am assuming that bebuzz now has Windows on E:\

    Yes windows is on e: drive its listed as local drive (e:)
    iam running win xp pro on adell optomex GX520 I JUST have a hard drive
    and a dvd rewriter.

    98% of your stuff will work ok if Windows is on E drive...Only real way to fix it is to format and start over.

    Make sure you don't have any flash drives plugged in when you install Windows.
