    I'm going to assume that you are referring to "Blank Pages" in IE.

    What version of IE?

    Are you MS-update current?

    Grab a cup of "beverage of choice" and read away:

    http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers2.htm#blank_windows

    See the section entitled:
    "IE6 opens blank/empty/seethrough windows - have to refresh to see contents "

    I am not being clear
    Top of my IE 5.5 I have File, Edit etc
    next row is Back, Forward Stop etc
    next row is address pane
    I have a google bar next
    then complete view window
    at the bottom of screen across the whole bottom
    we all have the start button, and then any program that might be open, well right above that I use to have a "bar" showing when I would click on a new site, it would show where I was going and when completely open it would say DONE

    Ie toolbar

    Click on "view "

    Put a check on "Status Bar "

    =======
    Phew, that's much less painful then trouble shooting Blank Pages.

    ======
    Make sure your [Main or First opened] Parent window and any [Secondary] Child windows have this checked and are opened maximized. On occasion the Status Bar can be placed just low enough to be hidden behind the Startmenu/Taskbar.
