HelpOhHelp - Welcome to the Board :)

Unfortunately you have fallen into the trap of editing an attachment effectively from within Windows Mail - any changes you make are not saved even though you hit he Save icon.

You must first save the attachment to your hard drive, open it and then make your edits and Save. Then send it in the usual way.

YAY! - I got it back!!! How You may ask??? I installed (after hours of labour) AGENT RANSACK, an awesome program, all I had to do was enter teh title of the doc (which I new came in as June something or other) and poof! I got it back. I suggest everybody installing this software, it is free, if you loose something...well a very happy ending!! ;)

Just love a happy ending :) But next time be sure to save the attachment to your hard drive first. I guess you found the file in a temp folder?

Yes, Agent Ransack is very handy - I have used it's big brother for years - File Locator Pro.
