Ok. I’m not sure this goes here, but here goes. Windows XP Pro, Cable Modem thru linksys router. I startup internet explorer and everything is fine, if I leave the computer alone for a short time i.e. no surfing, when I try to access another web site it tells me no connection available. I click try again, works fine. This only happens when there is a delay ( I do not know the time span of the delay). What is causing the computer to see NO Connection?????

Look in Device Manager->Eithernet Card Properties->Power Mnagement tab->uncheck "allow computer to turn this off to save energy "
