    Sorry about that Jcloutier
    It's not under Windows? Have you tried using your search feature?

    Email files;
    X:\Windows\Application Data\Indentities\{bunchoflettersandnumbers}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

    OE [msimn.exe] and Address Book [wab.exe] X:\Program File\Outlook Express

    Desktop items, that are not Shell Folders;
    C:\Windows\Desktop and C:\Windows\All Users\Desktop [hidden folders].

    Outlook is part of Microsoft Office. So C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook should be where it is.

    Also if you Start/Find/files or folders and type Outlook, it will show you the path.

    Also open windows explorer and in the left pane is "Desktop" right at the top. Open that and all the shortcuts on your desktop are listed.

    ????????

    What version of Windows are you looking at ?

    My "Desktop " folder is buried waist deep under the Windows folder as C:\Windows\Desktop.

    Is in SE and was in FE.

    Hey BB,

    I have 98se. My windows explorer left pane shows

    Desktop
    Fred C Dobbs (My Computer)
    Trash
    3.5 FDD
    C:
    D:
    E:
    F:
    G:
    H:
    Y: Zip Drive
    Z: CdRW
    Printers
    Control Panel
    Dial Up Networking
    Scheduled Tasks
    Web Folders

    I also have C:\windows|desktop folder as you do. This is an OEM version of win98se if that makes a difference. I got it when I bought a computer 4 years ago before I put this beast together.

    Thanks.

    But never mind. I goofed.

    My eyeballs must have been playing Games with me or were not open wide enough. Or the morning Java had not kicked in yet. Or some other dumb thing.

    The very first line at the top IS DESKTOP
