    Hello all,
I am looking for (a long time) a kind of mail filter, but not like a spam filter.
The goal is to filter and eventually catch any outgoing mail before they reach Our ISP SMTP server , which doesn't respect our security policy.
My boss is a bit paranoid and he wants to avoid any prosecution from anyone, in the case of one of his employees got the idea to send an insulting mail, or a virus, a threat, etc...
So he asked me to find a solution to cover his scary ass. So I searched a lot, I asked my ISP, I played a lot with the Outlook rules (Outlook 2000), etc...
But so far, I don't have any valuable solution.
    Thanks in advance:)

    Well, I found nothing...

    Hello all,
so yeah, after a long search time, I failed finding.
Google didn't help me well in this quest.
So many answers concerning the contrary, of course, an incoming filter (like a spam filter).
So, once again, I am looking for an email filter which can log (and eventually catch) any mail SENT, containing specific words or with an attached file.
Of course I am not the only one in this situation.
I guess I did a very wrong search so far. This could be the ony reason (hoping...).
    Thank in advance.

Have Boss Man look at this email security solution ... MailGate Email Firewall. Would appear this comes as a package for monitoring email in both directions. Below is from outbound page view.
If above does not work, some ....
    Additional Google leads ..

I will give it a try

    Hello,
Thank you Dennis for your help.
I will try Mail Gate for sure.
I guess i made a bad research, comparing to what your google results show.
So I ill do my cooking and post the recipe.
Do you do also filter outgoing mails, at work? And what is your solution?
I think this request becomes pretty common, as all companies don't want to be involved in prosecutions.
    Got to dig deeper...
    I will let you know.
    Ty.
