[Long logon delay]

    I have an Ibm Laptop he uses it in school and logs onto a domain but at home he just logs onto his desktop locally but when he does so it takes about 3 minutes to get to his desktop. any ideas on what to check

    Diasable the Network temporarily for home use. It's looking for the domain and finally giving up but that takes time.
