I have XP and Outlook 2002. In calendar in Outlook I want to have each day have its' name eg Friday 18 October. I used to be able to do this under ME by making the long date format dddd/mmmm/yyyy. If I do this now, I get what I want but elsewhere the day is left out eg the clock date is Friday October 2002. anyone know a way around this?

I have XP-Pro and Outlook 2002 SP1. The default settings were the date as you say you wanted it for 1 day and 7 day displays. 5 day (workweek) truncates the day name due to lack of space. My clock display is fine.

How was yours displaying after the initial setup?

I can't remember the initial setup. If I have the long date format as ddddd/mmmm/yyyy Outlook is fine and I get the name of the day in Outlook 7 day view, but the task bar clock now says Saturday October 2002. I have tried every permutation but it seems I can one or the other but not both. I have SP1 for Office and will probably not put in SP1 for XP.
