    Hi broni,

Are you still having problems? I can log in using the web interface, but I don't have AIM, so don't use the browser to access webmail. Your best bet is to watch the NG's to see if other users are experiencing the login problem. If not then you'll know if it's you or Netscape. I'd lay odds that it's Netscape...

    Hi broni / Ramona

My Netscape IMAP was ALSO responding the same way PM Sunday. Today is working fine. It appears on weekends AOL / Netscape is maintaining / or lack of maintenance to the mail servers... since it seems to be a re-occuring weekend issue.

    Hi Dennis,

Appreciate the feedback! I was hoping that someone else using Webmail would respond to broni!

Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it, in view of the fact that this is all that Netscape maintains....

    Hi Ramona

Are Netscape IMAP email user's co-mixed with AOL email user's at AOL email server view? Simply asked, is it just a simple switch/program change to blocked Netscape IMAP email users out of AOL/Netscape email server.... thus ending this free service?

    Hi Dennis,

I really don't think so, at least not at this point. Considering that this is all that Netscape maintains, I was referring to the poor service that users have now. I've always had problems with the Webmail availability, and slow response, but I would have thought that it would improve, since this portal is all that's left of Netscape...

I have seen nothing to indicate there is any immediate plan to end the free webmail service. On the NG's, only subtle suggestions to have another webmail solution in mind.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the reply. Any free email services out there that can be managed via Netscape IMAP or Netscape POP3?... preferable without the need of a 3rd party background program assisting. Naturally wanting ice cream with my cake, it should be a true duplex link, allowing read, compose, send, receive, delete of all email information during the session. Hey, I don't ask for much, just free with alot of extra's. :D
