Logging on help

    I have been logging onto my pc for a few years with out a hitch.
    Yesterday i was asked for my administrator password. That has never happend before and now i cant even start windows.
    What do i do?

    Need a little more details before reccommending things to try...you say can't start windows....what does it do? What do you see on the screen? Have you changed anything before this started? etc..
