    just been reading post on this great site and wonder if one of you can help interperate so data from Logfile of HijackThis v1.98.2

    im running win xp pro sp2 all latest down loads av via mcafee virus scan 8.0 have run ad ware 6.181, spybot 1.2 latest download, isp via aol 9.0

    ADSL modem monitor from Eicon Networks (as used by BT for its Broadband internet service for example). Can safely be disabled without affecting the connection - all this does is give an indication of connectivity and access to the diagnostic facilities

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [CTFMON.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe
    CTFMon is involved with the language/alternative input services in Office XP. CTFMON.exe will continue to put itself back into MSConfig when you run the Office XP apps as long as the Text Services and Speech applets in the Control Panel are enabled. Not required if you don't need these features. For more info on ctfmon see HERE
