log files in windows folder

    in the windows folder, i notice that there are about 40 log files name KB followed by six numbers .log eg. KB840374.log

    Does anyone know what are these files ?

    They're past history logs of the MS updates you have chosen to accept and can be safely deleted.

    You may have other files related to MS Updates that you can also delete. Over time, they tend to take up significant space on your drive. Post back if any ??
