Is there a way to disable the CLEAR HISTORY and DELETE FILES options in IE5.0?

I don't want people hitting those buttons or going into History manually (ctrl+h) and clearning things either.

    Thanks

There's probably a registry hack, and I'll have a look around. But if you need to do this on a number of machines, have you considered the Internet Explorer Administration kit?

    Hiya

Go to Start>Shutdown>Restart in Ms-Dos>At the c:\prompt type,

smartdrv (hit the enter key for all the commands)
    deltree/y tempor~1
    deltree/y history
    deltree/y cookies
    deltree/y downlo~1

    exit

Notice the space between the y and the start of the commands. These commands will remove all temp files and folders.Windows will recreate new ones when you reboot.

    Regards
