In previous versions of SM, there was an option under preferences to allow SM to load on startup so you did not see SM logo. I could not find that option.
    Anyone know where it is?

I found how to do it. It was under navigator.

I am confused by the question. You say that there was an option, which you could not find. Then, you say that you found out how, and that it was under "navigator ".
There is no Navigator option in 2.x, but the closest item is in Advanced|Keyboard navigation. Since I don't have previous versions, I don't know if there was, ever, such setting.

Sorry, I was referring to "Quick Launch" which is under Edit/preferences/Advanced.
I found it and thanks for your interest.

Quick Launch interested me quite a bit, and Seamonkey dropped it when it turned more like Firefox. I looked all over, and found nothing. A Search told me that there was a: "turbo" mode, rather than Quick Launch in 2.0, but, that it was removed in 2.0.3. And, if present in 1.x, Quick Launch should be unchecked, before installing 2.x.
To make a long story short, where did you find such setting?

In the navigator window of SM2.0.3, hit Edit -> preferences and the advanced option. That screen has the option of quick launch. Let me know how you make out.

I am assuming that your SM1.x has been uninstalled. As for me, Advanced not expanded has two setting:1.Enable Java which is checked. 2.System Integration:Check default application settings, which is irrelevant, and not checked.
On expanding Advanced, I get the Scripts and Plugins. Keyboard Navigation, with Tab key and find as you type. Also Cache (set Cache options), Proxies HTTP networking, Software Installation, and DOM inspector. None of them mention Quick Launch.
Since a Search told me that Quick Launch of 1.x was changed to "Turbo mode" in early 2.x, and that there was no such thing in 2.0.3, I am wondering if you still have SM1.x installed. I used 2.x since I first heard of it, in pre-2.0, and, never, saw "Quick Launch "

You are looking at advanced in the Mail program of SM. You must switch to the browser portion and then you will see it. The preferences for the 2 programs are different.

    Sorry - I had loaded SM1.x rather than 2.0.3.
This is the closest I could find:

    Specifying Which Components
    Open at Launch

You can choose components (such as Mail & Newsgroups and Composer) to
    launch when you start SeaMonkey:

    1. Open the SeaMonkey
    Edit menu and choose Preferences.

    2. Click the Appearance category.

    3. Select the components you want opened automatically each time you start
    SeaMonkey.
