 I've just bought an Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 motherboard for a new build. Included in the connector kit is a small blue connector and I can find no mention of it in the manual. It's marked +5V, P1-, P1+ GND on the side. Has anyone out there got one of these boards?

They are usually connectors for hardware if you have that type of hardware.

Does it match any connections you have?

ASUS sometimes supplies connector adapters to make it easier to connect the case front panel I/O connections to the motherboard. And the labels you describe would support that. Is this just a one-piece connector/adapter, or are there wires coming from it? In looking at your manual, I think this is part of what ASUS calls their Q-connector kit. It allows you to connect all the case wires to this adapter where you can see what you are doing, then connect the adapter to the motherboard where you cannot see as easily unless you are a contortionist. If you already connected all the case front panel wires directly to the motherboard's front panel I/O header, you don't need this connector.
