Resolved Linksys Router BEFSR81

I have a Linksys Router BEFSR81 firmware version 2.51.0

I would like to set Port Range Forwarding.
First I login with name and password.
Then I go to Applications and Gaming - Port Range Forwarding.
I enter name, ports, protocol, server and hit Save.
And then the router ask me again to enter a logon name and password.
When I enter this, apparently not the correct one for it asks me again for a name and password.

Can anyone help me with this please?

The BEFSR81 needs no username to login. The default username is blanked and the default password is admin, lower case. Go to Administration and set a blank username and set a real password. You will be prompted to log back in with the new password. Then tackle the Port Forwarding.

Tell us what Name, Ports, Protocol & LAN IP address you are entering, and the purpose you have in mind.

Thank you very much for your answer.
In the meanwhile I did a reset on my router to the default settings.
After that and setting my ows settings again it all works fine again.
