Hi. I am using Vista Home Premium SP1, and Windows Mail 6. Sometimes links I receive in emails are not highlighted, and sometimes they are. If I copy the link and paste it in my browser it works, and if I paste it in a new email and send it to myself it is highlighted. It's pretty annoying!

    Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks a lot.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Some emails that are sent in "Text" format will cause this.

It's interesting. In Windows Mail, I can choose either html or text and the links I send are always highlighted. Also, if I forward one of the emails with the un-highlighted links, the link becomes highlighted.

Many ISP's and AntiVirus softwares see URL's as possible phishing/bad items. Do the mails in question come from the same senders?

    same sender

I can't say they're always one way or the other, but there's one particular sender, someone I have been corresponding with for years, who's links are never highlighted. He's a mac user if that would have anything to do with it.
