Is there any way to change what browser opens when you click on a link that is included in an e-mail?

I can click on a link in my e-mails and it will open my IE6 browser, but I currently use MSN Explorer as my main browser and would like to have the links open using that (if that's even possible??).

I know Outlook Express and IE are somehow "connected ". But if this could be changed, it would make me a little happier! ;)

    Thanks all!

Windows XP (and Vista) allow you to control program defaults through Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs > Set Program Access and Defaults.

Thank you, Arie, for your reply. (I did neglect to mention I was using Windows XP  ) I did try using the method you described, but I didn't notice any change (links still open using IE.)

There are 3 options listed in the "Set Program Access and Defaults "--Microsoft Windows, Non-Microsoft and Custom. I have tried doing the changes on each of these without any difference. (I did not however "reboot" after the changes...didn't know if that was necessary as I was never prompted to do so in order for the changes to take affect?)

Am I doing something wrong to not be able to get the links to open with my MSN browser?

    Thanks again!

In IE try Tools/Internet Options/Programs and change it there.

Thanks all for your replies. I have tried them all and have not found any difference (all still open with IE). I can live with it this way, just thought I'd try and change it if I could --and only if it was something EASY for me to do!

Thanks for trying to assist me!
