When I click a Web link in an e-mail message in my Outlook 2003, the Web site opens in a browser window and the Locate Link Browser dialog box appears. I have gone to the Windows Help and Support site and tried to use the solution that they recommend; however it does not work for me.

Can someone help me with this problem?

    Thank you, bianderson

    Re: To TonyT

TonyT; Thank you. I tried this solution before I registered here to find additional help. When I try the solution at the link you provided I cannot get past step 5 (In the Application used to perform action box, locate Internet Explorer (Iexplore.exe), and then click Open.). I cannot locate Internet Explorer (Iexplore.exe) such that the Open link will work. If you have some suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.
    Thank you again, Bianderson

Hi bianderson, (This really should have posted in the "Microsoft Mail" forum. As you new to our board this is not a problem, moderators will redirect post. Welcome to windowsbbs. :)

Do you mean you have been unable to find iexplore.exe or the fix has not worked? Also is IE your default browser? (May be mistaken but I think the answer/fix will vary based on default browser.)

If your problem is in not being able to find iexplore.exe....
The path should reflect your path to *:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe (*: to be replaced with your drive letter) or just click the browse to button and drill to the program files>internet explorer>iexplore.exe.

This is a system file and is hidden you must have enabled you folder options to allow these to be seen:
