When first bookmarking a page in the "Favorites" pull-down menu or "Links" toolbar, often there is a customized icon that is associated with the link. After a brief time however, although sometimes it is a number of days/reboots later - the icon reverts to the default blue "e" over the tiny little blank page with the upper right hand corner folded in. Anyone know why the custom icons vanish?
    Thanks!

WFC_Exile--Download FavOrg from PC Magazine. The reason for what you describe is that the Icons for Favorites are kept in your Temporary Internet Files. When you delete them (your cache) as part of maintenance, you delete the icons. There are manual ways of connecting the icons to your Favorites permanently, but FavOrg is the easiest.

Thanks Jim. I'll give it a try. Glad to see you're back on the recreated board. You've helped me before :)
