"Links" bookmark

    Well - there is a "links" folder and I imagine if it were gone you wouldn't see it.

    Never tried it though. For safety (in case it messes other things up) I would rename the folder to something like ExLinks or something and see how things work.

    I am assuming you have already unchecked the Links thing from View~toolbars so it does not show up in the browser window and for some reason that didn't continue to keep it away.

    If you're referring to the Links folder listed under favorites you can navigate to your Favorites folder in Windows Explorer and either cut and paste it somewhere else, in case you decide later to restore it, or you can simply delete it. I chose the later in my Win98 system a couple of years ago and have not experienced any problems as a result.

    If you are referring to the Links Toolbar, in IE click on View, Toolbars, and uncheck Links.
