    Hi All,

Using Mozilla 1.7.2 mail and had occasion to send an e-mail with a link insert. From the Tool bar Insert I clicked on Link in the drop-down, inserted the Link Text (a word), the web address at the Link Location and clicked OK. When I sent this mail to my address the link-text word was not colored and produced no action when clicked.

It would appear that something is missing because other parts of the Insert drop-down function. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I tried it your way and it worked fine.

Can you go to your link page and select "Send Link" from the F ile menu? I also use 1.7.2.

    Hi derfsch,

Like Bill, it works perfectly here, on Mozilla 1.7.2, and in fact I can't do anything which will prevent it from working? Have you tried different text and links?

    Now it's working!

Bmoore1129, Bill, Using your suggestion of F ile, that works. What didn't work was the use of the "Link Text" and then the "Link Location." Whether using only the web address shook something loose or not, I can't say.

Ramona After trying Bill's suggestion, I tried different web addresses and all worked as they should. Interesting to me is that this all started when trying to use the address for NotesPad which you supplied to me in and earlier post.

My thanks to each of you for your interest and help.
