Lexmark x7550 and Windows 7

I'm frustrated to the point of screaming. In messing with all the wires behind my PC, I accidently unplugged my printer USB plug. Did not know that until I started my computer. So I plugged the printer back in. Well now windows 7 will not recognize my printer. So I unstalled the device, re-installed same. No solution. Same story page2. "NO PRINTER INSTALLED ". Shows the printer under DEVICES and PRINTERS, but with an exclamation mark. NO DRIVER INSTALLED. Repeating the uninstall/reinstall 3 more times.Still the problem exists. Please help..... Try a different port or USB cable.
