    OK. Consider this. Navigating from forum to forum now requires a return to the site home and then to the new forum. Can we have a dropdown somewhere or is there room on the right?

    It doesn't, look at the bottom of the screen. You can still switch boards there.

    FWIW I'm not too keen on the new layout either, in saying that I wasn't too happy switching between XP & 7 but I got used to it, ;)
