For three days now I can't click on my desktop icons, shortcuts or folders. I also cannot right click to get to my properties or any other options. I can left and right click on the taskbar. The only program I have installed was brain challenge. I uninstalled it and still nothing.
If I go to explorer or the start menu, I can open the programs. I have run spyware and antivirus software and nothing was detected. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Hi setw. Welcome to Windowsbbs! :) Have you tried running system restore and restoring your computer to a time before this issue occurred? (Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< System Restore) When you say you can't right click does this only happen on the desktop or can you not right click on a folder in the start enu or in windows explorer for example? Have you tried logging into any other user account to test the issue? Does this happen when you boot the computer into Safe Mode? Let me know.
