Leechget 2004 and Download Express for Modem downloads?

    Has anyone used Leechget 2004 or Download Express for 56K modem downloads? Do they help speed up the downloads? Are there any other programs better recommended for slow 56K modems (mine actually runs at 24 Kpbs and I am lucky to get a 3 kpbs download).

    Not familiar with either one of those but download managers do help. See the last paragraph in the link in your other post.

    That's where I got these names. I was hoping that someone has had experience actually using them with a slow 56K modem. I don't want to install anything that won't be an obvious advantage.

    I cant say for sure if theres any actual download speed improvement, whats important (to me) is there resumable.
