LCD moniter (Acer FP653)

I have had this moniter for about a year and the screen has turned a yellowish color. It satyed that way for a day and now it bounces back and forth from normal to the yellowish color.
After testing on another computer and reading the manual it looks like I'm either losing a color or my cord is bad. All the pins seem to be in good shape.
Any ideals on which is bad?
How much would it be to repair?

Talked to Acer and they said it's probably due to the loss of a color.

Good news is they will repair for free.
Glad I went for moniter with the 3 year warranty.
Bad news it will take 2 weeks to repair!
