Just noticed the "You last visited:" time is six hours ahead of where it should be. The current time (Pacific) shown at the bottom of each page is correct.

Not a big deal, but why, and can it be corrected?

Edit: also just noticed the time on this new post is also six hours ahead of the current Pacific time.

IE: Current tme is March 9, 2012, 19:24 PST, Post time is March 10, 2012 01:24

    TESTing

You last visited: 9th March 2012 at 20:04 (looks to be six hours off)

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 03:16. (correct time for me)

Funny thing is I have no idea where this came from (no changes made recently). And as you can see, the time reported at the bottom of the forum pages is correct.

MySQL also shows the correct time, server time is correct....

    Lovely :(

Same here, the time on the "You last visted:" line is 6 hours ahead. ( "14:15" instead of "08:15 ").

The time at the bottom of the page is correct.

PS - Also just had to wait a couple of minutes for a "Server reboot ... back in 10 ".

Everyone will see that post times & the "You last visited" times are off by 6 hours.

I've no clue as to why, problem is that I didn't make any change to make it happen, so it'll be "interesting" to see how I'm going to resolve this...

No, that has nothing to do with it, but it does look like a cookie time issue...

Still working on it. It's a problem with the invocation code for the ad server.

Well, I have now found out the problem & the work around.

Looks like we're only off 1 hour now...

So have to figure out how to correct that last bit.

Can't believe its a bug they left in the software for 3 years

It was right yesterday when I posted. (Logged off and back on to check).

This morning it's off by an hour. (Just logged off and back on to check). It says last visited 06:31 and it should be 07:31. (Daylight Savings?)

One hour is better than six though. :)

Lat night it was off for me, and now it is showing correct.

The server is reporting the correct time-zone & the time is correct, right now 06:51

Time zone reported by the server America/Chicago

    Time off server:
    Time from MySQL
So I can only suggest you check your Date & Time Options.

Experiment & see if you can get the correct setting with the DST Correction Option...

My times are correct PacificDT or GMT -7 which adjusts for DST.

    Last Visit time 8:52 AM
    Computer Time 8:52 AM

Seeing as I started this thread and it seems to be resolved I will mark as such.

Last two days since DST kicked in.... When I come here using FF, I see the screen flash (i think it's a DST thing) and then I end up with a blank white page. If I use my bookmark again I get into the site and all is well.

No such problem for me (using FF 10.0.2). But I have the DST Correction Option set to DST Corrections always off .
