    Hey all

wolfsta - Welcome to the Board :)

Several possible fixes here, under Quicklaunch ....

    http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_qr.htm

Favourite would seem to be Desktop > Properties > Appearance > Advanced - Caption Button Size in the Item dropdown list.

BTW - not a good idea to publish your email addy - spam, etc. I have edited your post. We reply to all posts on the Board - see my signature.

Have him carefully place the mouse cursor on the divider bar between the Start Button and the Quick launch area. When the cursor changes to a double arrow, right click it. Right clicking that area will display a context menu with "View" listed on it. You may then select either large or small icons from the view area. It may take some patience to get this menu but it will appear when the cursor is placed properly as indicated.

When trying surferdude2's suggestion, if nothing happens, unlock the TaskBar.

Thanks Christer, good catch since if the Taskbar is locked that divider bar and menu is not available. Then of course he may want to lock the Taskbar when he finishes to possibly prevent this from happening again. It may just have happened inadvertantly though and no action will be needed.
