Hi, when i try to turn on my laptop, its running windows 7, it gets to a screen that states trying to startup repairand will run forever. I read to hold alt and f12 to a system restore, i chose to restore to the state i got the computer, it ran but states error 1117, something about a driver i think, should i take it in to a repair shop or what do you think, is there a disk or a download so i can reload windows? the computer didnt come with any disks. thanks, jerry

What brand of computer? Dell, HP or what? For the last couple of years most asked you to make recovery disc when you first boot up the PC. You could also call or e-mail the manufacture and asked them to send you the disc. Most will for a small fee.
