Laptop Stress Testing software suggestions

    A friend has just gotten a used laptop - delivery in a few days - and I want to recommend some stress testing utilities to him so he can do several days serious burning-in while he still has the option to return the system if any components are about to fail.

    I'm especially interested in testing the HD, video, and any other parts of a Samsung P10 Laptop with Built-in Wireless & DVD Drive that might need it.

    Suggestions?

    Hello Newt,
    Sandra in my signature has "burn-in" programs. I have chosen not to "use them at my own risk" :D . They sound something like what you are looking for though.

    Edit: those that are not covered, set them some "hard" tasks to perform.
