When it comes to cards and slots on a laptop I believe there are 2 slots for cards on most. What type of combinations can you use. I assume you can use 2 type 1 cards in each slot, a type 1 and a type 2 in both slots and a type 3 in one slot. Now the question is can you have two type 2 cards in each slot or 2 type 3s in each slot? Please let me know.

    thanks

You need to be careful here and read the spec of the laptop very carefully - if you are in the process of selecting a laptop look on the manufacturer's web site.

My HP for example has two slots, one for an ExpressCard and the other for a PC Card - they are not interchangeable slot to slot.
