    Hey,
Ive had a problem with my laptop restarting frequently for instant when i tried playing a computer game it restarts. I believe it is isass.exe because it use to say after it restarted on the top left of a little window isass.exe. Anyways ive done a lot of reading on this and i still cant figure out how to fix all of this. Most people say to do a virus scan but none of that works. Can someone give me some 1v1 instructions on how to fix it. Also note: after it restarts i have to unplug anything thats plugged into the laptop until it gets to the login screen or it will restart again.

    Any help please,

    thanks

Is your pc randomly rebooting itself? You can go to

Control Panel->System icon->Advance tab->Startup & Recovery Settings button. UNcheck/disable the "auto reboot" option. Instead of rebooting you'll probably get a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) which can be searched on for a solution.

You can go to http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1 to search on for example: STOP 0x00000050

Black startup screen is briefly displayed and your computer restarts repeatedly when you try to start Windows XP
