Laptop keeps going into OFFLINE files mode

actually i've posted this in the Windows XP forum aswell - although i feel it may be a hardware issue:


You know the message - in the bottom corner "You Are Now Working Offline" - it keeps appearing and the laptop goes offline - and off the network for no apparent reason.

Is it worth disabling Offline files? at the moment i'm trying the laptop (which is having the problem) in a different network point.
